WHO IS PAMA?
The supreme motto of PAMA, Pan Pacific Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Association of Taiwan Chamber of Commerce is to bring the leading abacus professionals under one roof, provide guidelines and a code of conduct to impart soroban education to its members, to prevent unauthorized and unrecognized abacus institutes to misguide and misdirect the parents and students through fake syllabi and course materials, provide a platform to the students to dream more as well as participate and
compete with their fellow students from different participating countries in universally accepted soroban competitions, develop and hone the brain development of children as well as their overall attitude, and expose the multi-talented skills of children before the global gathering as a step to shape them as leaders.

Best of luck to our PAMA SA Team who will be competing at the 18th PAMA Global Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 30 December 2018.
Cream of the Crop. 765 top mental maths students from around the world including team South Africa with 25 participants will be competing in the prestigious PAMA GLOBAL 2018.
The standards for qualifying are set at a very high level and students from countries like Taiwan, USA Australia etc. will be vying for top honours.
With the exceptional training received from A+Students our students will compete on an equal footing and hope to bring back the gold.
